Samuel Eto'o found the back of the net in chelsea 4-1 trashing of Cardiff city at Stamford Bridge this evening, scoring his first goal of the season for chelsea since joining the London club.
Cardiff opened scoring in the first half when David luiz allowed a loose ball get to Jordan Mutch who chipped it over Peter Cech to make it 1-0 for the visitors.
Chelsea equaliser efforts paid off later in the half when Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall was bouncing the ball unaware of Eto'o's presence behind, who stumped the ball away to Edin hazard. Hazard returns the ball to Eto'o who was heavily manned and returned the ball to hazard whose strike found the net making it 1-1.
The second half went the way of chelsea all through as they dominated the visitors.
In the half mourinho substituted Mata for Oscar and then Bertendner for Torres.
Samuel Eto'o's strike from inside the box gave him his first goal for chelsea at the 65 minutes.
At 68 minutes Eto'o was substituted for Azpilicueta.
In the 77 minutes, Oscar made it three with a superb chipping into the far post when Ramires nodding from outside the box found his foot.
Hazard got his brace and sealed the fate or the visitors at the 81 minutes when his strike in the box sneaked through Marshall's feet into the net.
"We need to be at the top of the league so we did our best to score. For the fans and for us" Hazard said after the game.
