How ferterlizer price forces Willian to EPL

The current chase after Brazilian midfielder by giant English clubs was made imperative by the sudden drastic nose dive of fertilizer prices in Russia. The Brailian star had always dreamt of playing in the premier leauge before the end of his career. But the price fall of the commodity, resulted in the huge lose of money by the Russian billionaire suleiman kerimov-owner of Anzhi makhachkala the club that signed willian from sharktar doneskt last season. Kerimov who had over 250 million pounds investment in a fertilizer firm from which he supported the budget of the football club was badly hit by the price crisis.Consequently, kerimov was forced to reduce the club's budget from 115 million pounds to as low as somewhere between 30 to 45 million pounds. The club was not doing well in the russian league and kerimov decided there was no need wasting time and energy on a club that had roberto carlos, samuel eto'o, gus hinddick and christopher samba on it's payroll. Mailonlinesport reported him as saying that the club was " not worth wasting nerves and health on" This reduction in budget resulted in the club slipping to the 13 position in the russian league table at the close of last season. With the club's budget down to around 45 million pounds, and kerimov trying to find his bearing, placing most of the club stars became an option.willian happens to be one of the stars put up for sale. Infact the most promising because kerimov hopes to make 30 million pounds from his sale. Placing Willian on the market attracted English clubs like Chelsea, Spurs, Manchester United and Liverpool. Liverpool and Manchester later withdrew from the chase for their unwillingness to part with that much. With spurs and chelsea left in the chase spurs made promising moves suggesting that they needed the player by accepting to pay the 30 million pounds in order to use the player as possible alternative for departing Gareth Bale. The Brazilian was reported to have visited spurs medical facilities for medical examination on thursday and afterward waiting to put the final pen to paper before chelsea's later bid of 32million pounds by Jose mourinho spoilt the show for spurs.
