2014 WORLD CUP: Ticket sales hits one million.

The number of football fans applying for seats in next year's soccer fiesta scheduled to hold in in brazil have reached the one million mark. FIFA officially opened an online application site for tickets in the early hours of tuesday. Within several hour of opening, for applications, the world footbal governing body announced that one million applicants have requested for tickets to the 64 game of the fiesta that would hold between june 12 ana july13 of next year. At the end of the first day of sales, the website of the governing body showed that there were more ticket applications than the number of seats available in all four price categories ranging from 440 dollars to 990 dollars. But it says that brazilian fans are billed to pay 165 dollars in the cheaper category. But it is not jubilation time yet for the applicants because the body says they would wait untill october when random polls would be conducted to select those who would get the seats.
