In the 80s and 90s, the national Stadium in surulere was the most beautiful sports arena in west Africa or if am not mistaken, the whole Africa. To Nigerians, the stadium was not only important for its beauty, it is equally important because our national teams especially the Green Eagles and subsequently Super eagles never lose  a match here.

Today, due to the characteristic lack of maintenance culture of our leaders, see what they have turned the monument to--An arena for RAM FIGHT GAMBLING!
