British Soldier Killer Adebolajo, Appeals Against Conviction.

British soldier killer, Michael Adebolajo has lodged an application to appeal against his conviction for the killing of a British soldier Fusilier Rigby.

Rigby was killed on the 22 May 2013 in Woolwich, South East London by Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, from Greenwich, South East, London.  Adebolajo who claimed to be a  'soldier of Allah' in the killing of Rigby, also said it was an  'act of war'.

He and Adebowale are awaiting conviction by Mr Justice Sweeney who said he would pass judgment on the two men after a key appeal court ruling on the use of whole-life term, with the decision due on later date.
