The Governor of Edo state of Nigeria, Comrade Adams Oshinmole literally turned a cab driver last week as he was seen picking and dropping passengers in the City of Benin, the Edo State Capital.
The Governor, in an occasion where he gave out 300 cabs to former operators of commercial motorcycles that the government banned in the state last year, decided to test run one of the cabs. And instead of driving the cab around the field decided to hit the road and drove round the city picking and dropping passengers as he went, charging them reasonable fare.
Though his passengers were ready to pay, the governor refrained from taking the fare from them.
