Lagos State Government Moves Against Indecent Dressing.

The lagos state government today, began a war against indecent dressing by its female public civil servants in the state's ministries, Agencies and departments.

In a circular served  to the various government parastatals , issued by the head of service Mrs Josephine Williams, indecent dressing among the state government female public servants have been completely banned.

The decision was made as a result of worsening cases of indecent dressing among female government workers. The circular directed all Directors of Finance and Administrations ( DFA'S ) to immediately move against indecent dressing.

The government in the circular warned that it would begin to take drastic actions against those who flaunt the directives.

List of dress codes that should be avoided as indecent dressing is seen below:

* Skirts above knee level should not be worn by public servants.

* If a female public servant should wear trousers, such trousers should neither be tight nor revealing any sensitive part of their body and must be worn with a jacket.

* Gowns worn by female public servants must be of knee level,  moderate slit, not sleeveless and not body clinging.

* Native attires must be worn complete.

The government also directed that male public servants in the administrative cadre must wear suit and tie as professionals.
