If the information emanating from the quarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC ) that the upgraded Nigerian drivers licence is accepted in the US and Europe, then it is worth the stress Nigerians encounter to acquire one.
Speaking to News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN ), the Lagos state sector commander of the Road safety corps Mr Chidi Nkwonta said that the upgraded Nigerian national driver's license is accepted in 3 United States of America states, Washington DC, Califonia and Maryland. It is also accepted in European countries like Germany, Turkey, Austria, Sweden, Poland, Spain and Switzerland.
He said that the Nigerian licence would be accepted for a period within which the bearer is expected to request and acquire the state's or country's driver's licence.
