WWF Wrestlemania Legend 'Ultimate Warrior' Dies at 54
Popular wrestling Champion of the 1990s Ultimate warrior is dead according to World Wrestling Entertainment ( WWE) reports. Warrior who was born James Hellwig and changed his name to Warrior in 1993 died few days after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of fame and returned to the company after 18 years break up.
The news posted late Tuesday said the wrestler died at the age of 54 and has since attracted a flood of tributes from wrestling fans, perfomers and officials.
According to pm news, Warrior died on the day WWE released a DVD produced in honour of Warrior.
In the statement, the company said: "WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE superstar ever, the ultimate warrior,
"We are grateful just days ago, warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of fame and was able to appear at Wrestlemania 30 and Monday night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolence to Warrior's family and fans."
Warrior was known for his energetic style, sprinting down the aisle to the ring and violent shaking of the rope to psych himself up.
