Movie producer Tyler Perry has revealed that he is still searching for his biological father since he found out that the man who brought him up is not his father.
Tyler has known Emmitt Perry Snr as his father since Emmitt is the man he has lived and grew up with.
Tyler said his late mother refused to tell him the truth about who his father was even though there were times when he doubted that Emmitt was his father due to the way he maltreated him as he grew up.
"I love my mother to death but she lied to me, "
he told Catty Hughes the founder of Radio One at the women Empowerment 2014
Tyler found out shortly after his mother's death when DNA test revealed that Tyler and his brother were not sired by the same man.
Another DNA with Emmitt suggested that Tyler looked for his father elsewhere.
He further urged parents to always tell their children the truth. He said he has been searching for his biological father for quite some time now without success.
