Weird! American who has the right to marry another man may do 15 years in jail for having sex with step -daughter.

The west Virginia police have charged a  man, Kelcey Nicholas, 28 and his stepdaughter,  Lataura Jarrett ,21, with incest.

Sheriff David Hopkins decided to cite the inclusive definition of 'daughter' in state law despite the fact the they are not blood relations and are both over the age of consent. Nicholas and Jarrett now face up to 15 years

According to Daily mail, Nicholas married Jarrett's mother five years ago and authorities allege that she calls him 'father', and the pair were arrested having sex after sgt.W.K Shafer and state police cpl. D.P White went to their home on September 19th to arrest Nicholas for a home confinement charge.

Hopkins said: "According to state law, a daughter is the natural daughter of a person's husband or wife....and Nicholas is still married to Jarrett's mother"

Nicholas and Jarrett were charged with seven counts of incest which under Virginian law, carried a penalty of around 5 to 15 years in prison.

The question is why is American states legalising same sex marriage and make sex with  ones stepdaughter a crime against the state. Incest is having sexual intercourse by two  persons who are related by blood which Nicholas and Jarrett are not.

A trial date has not been set and Nicholas is languishing in jail on $70,000 bail while Jarrett is free on bond. A preliminary hearing will hold on October 3rd.

Juan Mata's super performance wins a champions league chance for him in Jose Mourinho's squad.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he was delighted by Juan Mata's super performance at white Hart lane on Saturday.

For that wonderful performance,  mourinho said Mata has won a starting shirt for himself when chelsea locks horns with Steaua Bucharest in a champions league encounter on tuesday night.

Mourinho expressed his delight following the spaniard's second half performance in the blues 1-1 draw with Tottenham at the White hart lane.

Mata came of the bench to turn around a lopsided game, which seemed to have favoured the home side throughout the first 45 minutes.

Throughout the second half mata took the game in his hands and paid off when John terry nodded his free kick into the net.

His impressive performance got Jose Mourinho who until now have not seen anything special about the two time chelsea footballer of the year on his toes. Mourinho had made it clear that Mata was not his favourite in the forward positions,  saying that he could only get playing chances by showing he deserves a place in the squad by proving himself in the pitch.

"This is the way players have to tell me they want to be in my team. I sometimes make mistakes as a manager, "mourinho said "But I make my decisions on what I see in training and on the pitch. I liked what mata did against Swindon in the capital one cup and I put him on the bench today"

"Now I like what I see when he plays for 45 minutes.  I am a very happy manager when I see Juan Mata playing like this. I can tell you now that he will play against Steaua Bucharest in the champions league on Tuesday-he deserves the chance. I want my players to tell me they want to play. Juan told me that today"

Mata said:" I just tried to do my best for the team. Everyone wants to play.  I respect all of my team mates and I want to enjoy it on the pitch.  Today I did it"

Commuters subjected to seven hours hold-up along Sagamu -Ore express way.

Travellers travelling along the lagos- Benin express way today's morning found themselves in  a gridlock some of them explained as unprecedented. A passenger of one of the commuter buses  travelling from lagos to Onitsha told the reporter that they entered the hold-up by 7.30am and  by 2.30pm they have barely moved a pole.

Both lanes of the dual carriageway were chocked bumper to bumper by cars, lorries, trailers, buses and to even make matters worse, haggard looking lorries used  for timber transportation.
The passenger while narrating his ordeal said: 'we came here  since 6.30am .what is the time now? 2pm and we are still here. When are we going to reach Onitsha? '
Another passenger said :  'I have travelled by this road three times this week and there has never been a day that i  passed without meeting a situation like this. But today's own is simply unprecedented'

The cause of the gridlock was not that a heavy duty vehicle fell across the road, which has been the case in most situations, but that the road has simply dilapidated to a pitiable condition.

'I don't know why the government has decided to allow this road rot like this?' another man asked

Sagamu-Ore express way today.

The Benin - Sagamu express way, if not the busiest,  is one of the busiest roads in Nigeria. It connects the south east, South south and to some extent, south west and the north of the country. What it then means is that this road plays an important role in the commerce of Nigeria because goods and services rely on this road to reach other regions from lagos.
The stretch of the road from Benin to Sagamu measures something between 225 to 250 kilometers and is divided by the location called Ore. The distance between Sagamu-Ore is bigger than that of Ore-Benin.

Contract to the upgrade of the road was awarded by former president Umaru yar'adua of blessed memory, but since then the company handling the project has not been able to complete the first phase which happens to be the smaller part of the road. That IS Benin to Ore. As a result, commuters and travellers bear brunt.

BEWARE OF TATTOO! Scientists reveal they can cause cancer.

That tattoo on your back, arms, boobs and even buttocks could be very beautiful but beware, there are ninety nine chances they could cause you cancer.

Scientists have revealed that some tattoo inks contain toxins that could be absorbed into the body and cause cancer. Experts believe ink nanoparticles could enter the bloodstream and accumulate in the spleen and kidney, harming the body's ability to filter impurities.

Director of Bradford University's centre for skin sciences said:
'we need to do more work, but there is no question that these substances could be toxic'

Millions of youths and even adults are wearing tattoos and do not know the dangers they are exposing themselves to.

A study reveals that one chemical used commonly to make black tattoo inks called benzo(a)pyrene is known to be a potent carcinogen that caused skin cancer in animal tests. The report found that red colours have been found to contain mercury, while green and blue inks have also been found to contain cobalt.

A study by Jorgen Serup, a professor of dermatology,  Copenhagen university hospital found carcinogens in 13 of 21 commonly used tattoo inks.

'Millions of Europeans are now being tattooed with chemical substances of unknown origin s' he said.

Scientists are now clamouring for more regulations on dyes used in the manufacture of tattoo inks.

Two years ago the United States food and drugs administration launched an investigation after research found that inks contain potentially dangerous substances including metals and hydrocarbons that are known carcinogens.

Mourinho delighted by Mikel Obi's first premiership goal for chelsea in seven years.

Chelsea fc manager Jose Mourinho was pleased with his side's victory over Fulham at the Stanford bridge Saturday evening. The self acclaimed special one also expressed his delight as John Obi Mikel found the back of the net in his club's 2-0 defeat over their fellow west London club.

The first goal came in the second half when Oscar struck from a close range. Mikel Obi lashed home his first goal to double the lead and put the blues on top of the table after the game with five games.

To mourinho, the three points are better than a beautiful performance: "when we played a very good game against Everton and lost, the way we played was not important' he said ' what we produced was not important. The important thing was we lost the game and lost three points. If you want to be pragmatic, we analyse the same way and the most important thing is the result"

Mikel's second half goal sealed the victory for the self - proclaimed happy one and his team. It was his first premiership goal for the club since 2007.

Finally, mourinho praised Mikel Obi for breaking his 261 games goal drought.

"Good for him, good for us. I think good for his confidence. And I think people enjoyed seeing John score a goal. The goal was a shot in a set-piece, in a corner, a rebound, the finishing was good and he was in the position, but important thing for me is that he played a good game, he gave balance and stability. He kept very good control of the game, so I am happy with the way John is playing. "

Mike has not scored a premiership goal since mourinho's first spell at the west London clubside.

Top premiership clubsides have distanced themslves from the gay -rights awarenes campaign this weekend. English premier league players were to lace their boots with a rainbow coloured bootlaces in a campaign against homophobia in football.

The  clubsides were reported to have been infuriated by the manner their player are being forced into the campaign by  the organisers of the campaign, betting company paddy power and gay right charity Stonewall. The clubs said that the organisers did not consult them before dispatching the boot laces to them. They said they were informed only when the lace came to their premises.

The awareness campaign lauched this week aims at eradicating homophobia in football.

Clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham have openly decleard that they would boycott the initiative due to lack of organisation on the part of the organisers.

For this lack of organisation and other reasons,  some other clubsides are threatening to go the way of Manchester United,  Liverpool and Tottenham while others are leaving the decision in the hands of their players.

As it stands,  only Everton is ready to wear the laces in their next game.

After inter- club discussion yesterday,  majority or the clubs took the decision not to fully back the scheme.

Reasons given by some clubs was that they have been in contract with other betting companies and that wearing the laces could go against some players' religious beliefs, given their views towards homosexuality.

EXPOSED! How Britain supplied killer chemicals to syrian government.

Many people across the world today would have been wondering why it has become difficult for Britain to support the much publicised, iminent military assult  on Syria by the United States.

The United States began the clamour for support from countries like China, Russia, France and Britain couple of weeks ago when it was proved beyond doubt that the Assad government fired chemical weapons into territories dominated by the "Rebels".

The question in the past used to be;  why is Britain taking long to endorse the attack on Assad regime?
Why is the British Prime minister, David Cameron pushing an unyielding legislators to give the green light to support the US in the war against pogrom in Syria.

In the past, British legislative arm never hasitated in endorsing military actions against countries like Iraq, Afganistan and quiet recently, Libya. why flinch now?

Investigations, have now revealed that the reason could be because the British government had a hand in the chemicals that were used in the weapons of mass destruction that killed over 2000 people in Syria last two months. According to mailonline reports, the british government issued export licenses to two companies between 2004-2010 allowing them to sell sodium fluoride to Syria.

Sodium fluoride is a chemical compound used in the production of sarin-a chemical by- product detected to have caused multiple deaths in rebel populated areas of Syria.

Exposure to safin causes eye damage, breathing problem, loss of conciousness, shaking and coma....leading to death.

INCREDIBLE ! British couple spends one pound for their wedding.

While it takes almost a fortune for traditional weddings and another fortune for white weddings in cultures like Nigeria, it took only but one pound for British Georgina, 36, and Sid, 39 to be officially married before over 70 guests who witnessed their nuptial vows.

According to a UK news wabsite, the couple met in Glasgow in 2009 and agreed to marry each other.Another agreement reached by the couple was that their wedding was going to be on a very low budget.

"I dont see the point in these massive weddings. I takes away from what marriage is truely about." said Georgina.

The one pound was spent on a second hand vintage wedding gown for Georgina. The couple were reported to have done most of the decorations and wedding rings themselves. They also asked family and friends to come along with food and drinks.

The wedding took place last night in a barn behind the couple's cottage, which was decorated with solar lanterns, locally grown flowers donated by farmers. Georgina's wedding dress was acquired from a website that freecycles stuffs. It is an online community where people can swap items, and it cost her a pound- their only expenditure of the occassion.

The chuch service was conducted by Georgina's mother Susanne. The rings were made by Georgina herself from materials she picked from their garden. They were officially pronounced married by Reverend Peter Donald, who offered his services free so that he could take donations for the church from the guests.  A local photographer was also on hand to take photographs free after agreement that Georgina, a freelance film editor work for him in return. Georgina's aunt home-baked a three tier chocolate cake.

The only additional payment made to the wedding was the70 pounds statutory fee paid for marriages. The wedding also featured an after party that lasted into the night with plenty of food and drinks. Music and jazz was played by the bride's father who played on the saxophone.

Georgina went on later: "There is nothing to gain from spending a huge amount of money. The day is supposed to be about marrying the person you love and for us, all that mattered was that we were becoming husband and wife. We didnt want or need a big, fancy affair"

Bale was born to play for Madrid---Perez

The president of Real Madrid football club, Florentino Perez on sunday added more fuel to the fire that the record Gareth Bale transfer controversy had kindled.

Perez had on sunday afternoon before the arrival of Bale to madrid said:

"He would be a good signing for the club. Bale is one of the best players in the world and at Real Madrid we always have the best. i am convienced that if the club want him he would be a great signing. Bale was born to play for Real Madrid.

Perez's statement came at what seems to be the right time-when spurs already have allowed Bale to go to Madrid but following spurs unwillingness to sell Bale.

Gareth Bale finally unveilled at Madrid

After what seemed to be a long drag in the anticipated record tranfer from tottenham hotspurs to Real Madrid, Gareth Bale has finally been unveilled to millions of the madrid's fans.

The unveilling ceremony which took place in the santiago Benebau presented an obviously happy Bale.

The record transfer of Bale had drag for a long time since the opening of transfer window for the young season. with Madrid tabeling a jaw breaking 80 million pounds, spurs's resolve to sell the player remained fluctual. Though no specific reasons were given for spurs lukewarm approach to the transfer, speculations were that the club had not procured the services of a good replacement for Bale.

At a time the player was given the green light to join the spanish clubside with the signing of  william from Anzhi makhachkala at hand but was quickly called back after chelsea's unforseen snatch of willian. Madrid was at such forced to dismantle the stage that was set for Bale's unveiling.

Spurs reason was that Madrid was too fast about the whole process and again that there were other clubs that have tabled better offers. Real pressed on which saw spurs ready to finally release the player at 85million pounds albiet unwillingly.

The chairman of tottenham hotspurs Daniel Levy had said in the begining or Real's bid that " we have every intention of keeping him. we will not entertain any approaches"

On arriving at Madrid late sunday night Bale said " i would like to thank everyone at the club, the chairman, board, staff, coaches and players-and most of all the fantastic fans who i hope will understand this amazing opportunity"

He went on "I am not sure there is ever a good time to leave a club where i felt settled and was playing the football of my career to date. I know many players talk of their desire to join the club of their boyhood dreams but i can honestly say this is my dream come true"

Meanwhile the Real Madrid president Florentino perez sunday afternoon before the arrival of Gareth Bale at the Benebau expressed his joy for the iminent tranfer. He said "He would be a good signing for the club. Bale is one of the bes player in the world and at Real Madrid we always have the best."www.facebook.com
