Vincent Enyeama's Clean Sheet Record Bid Ends By An Own Goal.

Nigeria and Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama's clean sheet record bid ended on Sunday with an own goal by his team mate Simon Kjaer.

Enyeama who has kept a clean sheet, not conceding a goal after 1,062 minutes finally had his bid to break the 1,176 minutes clean sheet record set by Gaetan Huard of Bordeaux during the 1992-93 season, truncated by his team mate in the Sunday game against Bordeaux.

Enyeama was closing in on the overall Ligue 1 record when the Danish defender deflected a harmless looking shot by Bordeaux' Landry N'Guemo which hit the post before entering the net at 28th minutes into the game.

As it stands Enyeama holds the second highest clean sheet record in the French Ligue 1.
