NOT HIS PORTION: Danny Young Survives Auto Crash.

Nigerian musician Danny Young was involved in a road accident on Saturday along Lagos- Ibadan express way on his way to the Nigerian Youth Service Corps ( NYSC ) orientation camp in Sagamu, Ogun State.

According to the newswireng , the star was traveling with his band when their car ran into another car. Though no death was recorded in the crash, Danny and his crew have been admitted into a  hospital in Lagos for treatment.

Nollywood Actress Stella Damasus has decided to finally close down all her Facebook accounts. Last weekend, the actress posted on instagram that she made the hard decision which would definitely not be appreciated by her numerous fans because some impostors have begun to rub her name and image in the mud.

"Just to let you know that I am shutting down all my Facebook accounts.  I need to protect myself and image the best way I can, as some impersonators have started using my name to collect money from innocent people who want to get into the movie industry. Please,  spread the word and let your friends know that after today any Stella Damasus ( They see ) on Facebook is not me." She wrote.

Middle Aged Ritualist Nabbed With Human Tongues.

Barely three days since a kidnappers den was discovered in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, Nigeria,  another nabbing has been made of one ritualist with four human Tongues and skeletons. The middle aged man reportedly disguised himself as a madman to facilitate his devilish acts.

Daily times ng reports that the man was apprehended by residents of Ring road Ibadan who suspected his movement. A source told the correspondent:

"The nabbed ritualist stayed by the side of the pedestrian bridge at Oni and sons bus stop, have been perpetuating the evil acts for some months now. "

In a city still recovering from the shock of the Kidnappers/ Ritualists incident, the middle aged man ran out of luck.

"When some residents of the area who have been suspecting his movement discovered his notorious acts, they decided to deal with the support of the police. " Another source who sought anonymity said.

"While searching him, various bras, female pants of various sizes and female clothes believed to belong to his victims were found, "

"Also papers, skeletons and dangerous weapons were found in his base."

Three days ago, residents of Ibadan were greeted by the news of the discovery of a kidnappers den in a bush. In this hideout,  many decomposing bodies and scores of living but highly fermished people were found chained to the walls and floors of an uncompleted building.

Arsene Wenger Set To Quit Arsenal.

There is rife speculation that Arsenal manager of Over 19 years,  Arsene Wenger is set to leave the London side at the end of the current season and Football Direct News went further to claim that the players have been informed of the decision.

Football Direct News claimed that Wenger's decision was as a result of the 6 - 0 loss he suffered at the Stamford Bridge in the weekend.

Arsenal has cancelled the pre match press conference scheduled to hold on Tuesday ahead of the game against Swansea City on Wednesday. The players have even been asked to keep silent on the issue.

Arsenal have lost three of their last six games  which leaves them seven points off the top and in fourth position.

Samuel Eto'o Set To Quit Chelsea Over Age Row With Mourinho.

Chelsea Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o is set to quit his Stamford Bridge side at the end of this season.

The reason for the striker's decision according to sports analysts, was because of his dissatisfaction about Chelsea's manager Jose Mourinho's  claims that the player may be far older than the 32 year he claimed.

Two months ago,  a French television aired the Portuguese manager's private discussion with a friend. In the discussion,  Mourinho told the friend that he had a team but no striker and went ahead to say that Eto'o was 32 or even 35.

In the hullabaloo that ensued in the media especially, the player's ex girlfriend added salt to injury by telling the world that the player was 39.

Since then, Samuel Eto'o has not been happy with his stay at Stamford Bridge little wonder he had to perform the old man as he celebrated his goal in the game against Tottenham Hotspurs. To make matters worse, Mourinho casted him to the bench in the next game.

His next destination in not quite clear but Spanish side Real Mallorca has shown interest once again in his services.

I Am Still Searching For My Real Father-------Tyler Perry.

Movie producer Tyler Perry has revealed that he is still searching for his biological father since he found out that the man who brought him up is not his father.

Tyler has known Emmitt Perry Snr as his father since Emmitt is the man he has lived and grew up with.

Tyler said his late mother refused to tell him the truth about who his father was even though there were times when he doubted that Emmitt was his father due to the way he maltreated him as he grew up.

"I love my mother to death but she lied to me, "

he told Catty Hughes the founder of Radio One at the women Empowerment 2014

Tyler found out shortly after his mother's death when DNA test revealed that Tyler and his brother were not sired by the same man.

Another DNA with Emmitt suggested that Tyler looked for his father elsewhere.
He further urged parents to always tell their children the truth. He said he has been searching for his biological father for quite some time now without success.

Chelsea Beat Galatasaray 2 - 0 To Qualify For UCL Quarter Finals.

Chelsea FC, Tuesday night,  defeated Galatasaray 2 -0 at the Stamford Bridge to qualify for the UEFA champions league quarter finals on 3 - 1 aggregate.

Samuel Eto'o opened the score sheet in the 4th minute of the first half when he picked Oscar's pass and beat an offside trap then shot the ball past Galatasaray keeper Fernando Muslera.

In the 42nd minute,  Gary Cahill made it 2 for Chelsea after Captain John Terry headed Frank Lampard's corner kick. Fernando Muslera saved the effort but left the ball to fall to Cahill who Thumped the ball into the net.

Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with Galatasaray at Istanbul and now qualifies for the quarter finals which draw holds later in the week.

Drogba Will Return To Chelsea One Day.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Chelsea's greatest signing of all times Didier Drogba will return to Stamford Bridge one day.

Mourinho made the statement as his side and Galatasaray prepare for the second leg of their Champions league round of 16 matches at the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Drogba is playing for the first time since 2012 when he left the London side  after helping them lift the UEFA Champions league trophy.

Mourinho believes that one day Drogba will return to Chelsea to serve in any capacity.

"That's not for me to decide. That's for Chelsea to decide. I think it has to happen one day," mourinho told newsman.

"When? I don't know. As a player, as a coach, as an ambassador? Next year, in four to five,  in ten years, I don't know. But when a person represents so much to a club and a club represents so much to a person I think he has to be welcome back.

"Undoubtedly he is one of the most important players in the history of the club. That's no doubt. "

Mourinho was reacting to Newsmen when they asked him whether he could see Drogba back to Chelsea.

SURPRISE: Robin Van Persie Sends Son To Manchester City Academy.

Manchester United Dutch striker Robin Van Persie has reportedly sent his son Shequeel, to join their city premier league rivals Manchester City Academy.

According to ESPN. UK, neither of Van Persie's and Phil Neville's sons have signed for the Manchester blues side, but they are not part of the club their fathers are directly involved.

Van Persie was the top scorer in the EPL last season while Neville joined David Moyes coaching team at United from Everton where he served with Moyes for eight years.

A club source was quoted as saying: "There is quite a bit of surprise about it, "

"You would have thought that if they were going to be with anyone,  it would have been United. " he added.

David Moyes Lost The Game Before It Started---Brandon Rodgers.

Liverpool FC manager, Brandon Rodgers has expressed surprise at Manchester United Manager's easy acceptance of defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford even before the start of the game.

David Moyes was quoted as saying that Rodgers's men were the favourites in the game at Old Trafford involving the two sides.

Liverpool came out victorious in the game, trashing the home side 0 - 3.

"I was probably surprised before the game when I heard we were supposedly coming to Old Trafford as favourites. I would never say that at Liverpool----- even if I was bottom of the league." Said Rodgers.

NIS Recruitment: 3000 Vacancies, Many casualties across Nigeria.

The Nigerian Immigration Service on Saturday March 15 2014, conducted aptitude tests in major cities in Nigeria in its bid to fill 3000 vacancies it earlier advertised.

Across the country, the exercise unfortunately turned out to be a national disaster as there were stampede in virtually all the recruitment centres and many candidates who dreamt of returning home with a job rather returned lifeless.

According to News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) , seven candidates died following a stampede in the National Stadium Abuja where the exercise took place. In the Abuja centre, 20,000 candidates were on ground for the test. According to reports, the Stampede started when these number of people were made to go through a little gate into the stadium. Trust Nigerians every candidate wanted to be the first to go through. By the time security official succeeded to bring the situation under control,  seven people, six women and one man were dead and several others sustained various degrees of injuries.

In Port Harcourt centre four men died in yet another stampede. A source at the hospital told NAN :

"I can confirm to you that four have died, four others in critical conditions, while four were treated and discharge. "
The Port Harcourt stampede also started as candidates tussled for the little available space into the Liberty Stadium. Some were pushed down and trampled upon by the crowd. 25,000 candidates were forced into the stadium for the test.

In Benin,  three pregnant women lost their lives in the Stampede. The cause of this particular stampede was that security operatives started shooting into the air to control the crowd in the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium. Instead of controlling the crowd,  the action further aggravated the Stampede as people ran for dear life. 26,000 candidates were present for the test.

In four cities of Northern Nigeria, a total of ten women collapsed while waiting for the exercise to begin.

As news of these deaths rolled in, people believe that the situation is a laughable one. Every year, Nigeria push over a hundred thousand graduates into the labour market without creating job to engage these teeming graduates. Over a hundred thousand youths applying to fill 3000 vacancies further buttresses the notion that majority of Nigerian youths are unemployed and the government is doing nothing about it.

The NIS recruitment disaster has been blamed on the inability of the immigration officials to properly handle the exercise especially when over 25,000 candidates showed up in every city across Nigeria to fill only 3000 vacancies.

Plane Crash Averted In Lagos.

It was confirmed by officials of Medview Airlines that one of its planes made an emergency landing on Saturday March 15 2014. The plane which took off from the Murtala Muhammed Airport ( MMA2) was forced to an emergency landing after its engine caught fire minutes after take off.

The flight was fortunately aborted in due time and as a result, no injuries or casualties was recorded.

One of the passengers of the plane was the former governor of Ogun State,  Otumba Gbenga Daniel.

The Airline company expresses its gratitude to its crew and passengers for their understanding.

Singer K-Switch And Girlfriend Welcomes Baby Number One.

Singer K-Switch who is younger brother to the ' Koko master'  D'banj ,this morning, welcomed a new born baby girl by his Liberian girlfriend Meenaskhi Monica.

UK Police Shut Down Highway In Search Of Man's Penis.

Police in the UK reportedly shut down a busy Highway to search for the severed Penis of a man caught making love to another man's wife.

Kelvin Hewitt, 40, was caught on bed with another man's wife and the gang to which the husband of the woman belong allegedly severed his Penis and dumped him by the road side.

The police found him in the pool of his  blood and took him to hospital where he received treatment. Then the police began a hunt for the penis by shutting down the busy highway where Kelvin was found.

Why I Cut My Dreadlocks----Ruud Gullit.

Just like the UEFA champions league trophy,  former Dutch international,  Ruud Gullit was equally a centre of  attraction on Thursday at the Eko hotels and suites Lagos,  Nigeria where he unveiled the 2014  Champions league trophy to the media.

Gullit who is the Heineken Champions league trophy tour Ambassador to Nigeria looked unrecognisable without his trademark dreadlocks. He told  the Nigerian media that the reason he cut his dreadlocks was to draw the line between the Ruud Gullit in the pitch and the Ruud Gullit outside the pitch.

"Its not been easy without the locks but I needed to carve a different image different from when I was playing.  I have lived 14 years without my trademark locks. At times it makes it difficult for people to recognise me. It is indeed good as the book of Ruud Gullit with the dreadlocks has been closed for an entirely different life outside the pitch."

The Dutch later said that he was sure that Nigeria Super Eagles would do well in the World Cup in Brazil.

"Indeed I watched the Super Eagles when they won the African nations cup in South Africa. Since then they have grown in confidence and understanding. And coach Stephen Keshi has been doing a good job on the team......,"

The Heineken Ambassador added that since the World Cup would be played within the period when the weather in Brazil would be hot, the Super eagles have an advantage in the hot weather to pull results in their favour.

Chelsea Trashes Tottenham Hotspurs 4-0 On The Bridge.

Chelsea FC  walloped visiting Tottenham Hotspurs 4-0 on Saturday to extend their lead on the top of English premier league by 7 points.

Four second half goals from Samuel Eto'o,  Eden Hazard and Demba Ba who got a brace were enough to give Jose Mourinho's boys a deserved victory at the Stamford Bridge.

Samuel Eto'o capitalised on Michael Watson's mistake in the 49th minute to put Chelsea ahead of the visitors.

In the 68th minute Samuel Eto'o was brought down by a Spurs defender in the eighteen yards box. The player was given the marching order and spurs were reduced to ten men. Eden Hazard then converted the spot kick to extend the blue boys lead by 2 goals.

2 quick goals in the 88 and 89th minutes by substitute Demba Ba who came in for Samuel Eto'o finally sealed the visitors' fate.
