Wizard Crash - lands While Flying Over A Church On His Way To Witches And Wizards Meeting.

A Ghanian man who claimed he was forced down while flying to witches and wizard meeting was found helpless and covered in mud by the riverside by two brothers. 

The man who bore two puffy breasts like a teenage girl gave his name as Charles Atta.

The brothers Liberty and Innocent Obeng told reporters that the self acclaimed wizard told them that he was flying in company of other witches and wizards to Cape Coast for witches and wizards meeting when he was forced down. 

He said they were flying over a church where a night vigil was going on when he crashed. The brothers said they heard the man crying out for help.

Charles also confessed that the two protrusions on his chest were taken from his 16-year-old granddaughter which he normally borrowed for night activities.

Manchester City Sends Iheanacho To Academy In Ghana.

A day ago, we reported that the most valuable player and the  second highest goal scorer in the just concluded FIFA U -17 world cup in the United Arab Emirates, Kelechi Iheanacho, was excused by the Super eagles coach Stephen Keshi to travel to the UK to hold talks with Manchester City.

Today,  information reaching us is that the EPL clubside will not be allowing the youngster's dream of playing for the Manchester blues materialise sooner. This is because Manchester City have chosen to send Iheanacho to the club's academy in Ghana to resume training until he has played a number of games that would qualify him for a work permit in the UK.

Prior to his release on Monday,  many football technocrats have cautioned against the choice of Manchester City over a Portuguese clubside begging for his signature. They argued that he would have more playing time in Portugal where he would step up his game before moving to England.

But Mr James Iheanacho, the father of the star remained steadfast on the Man City choice claiming that they have prayed and it was revealed that Manchester City is the best for the boy.

This photo which is making it round in the Internet is an old photograph of the current special adviser to the Nigerian president on media and publicity, Dr Ruben Abati. The Photograph was taken probably when the going was not smooth in his rickety car.

By dint of hard work he went ahead to become the chairman board of Editors in the Guardian Newspapers and now to Special Adviser.

UAE U-17 World Cup Golden Eaglets Star Kelechi Iheanacho Exits Super Eagles Camp To Hold Talks With Manchester City.

UAE FIFA U -17 junior world cup second highest goal scorer and the most valuable player, Kelechi Iheanacho who was recently called up into the home based Super Eagles preparing for CHAN 2014 tournament has been excused by coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi to travel to the United Kingdom to hold talks with EPL giant Manchester City.

Iheanacho was few weeks ago called up with two other victorious golden eaglets lads, Dele Alampasu and Tiwo Awoniyi, into the home base Super Eagles Camp preparing for CHAN 2014 Tournament that will hold in Morocco come January 2014. CHAN is another version of African Cup Of Nations (AFCON), designed by CAF to engage and expose home based African players.

Keshi was quoted by team's spokesperson Ben Alaiya as saying he has sanctioned the departure of the player after his father, James Iheanacho put a call to him on Monday afternoon requesting the release of the lad.

"Initially a young man came declaring that he was Iheanacho's agent,  but I declined to deal with him until I hear from the family because the boy is still a minor, " he said.

"It was soon after my rejection that I got a call from his father who told me that they have gotten travel visa to the United Kingdom and that I should oblige him with his son's release. I did and told the young man to go and do the nation proud at whichever club that he finally choose to settle down."

Keshi however acknowledged that Iheanacho is a talented player but also cautioned that the player should be handled gently and professionally as he navigates his professional career.

Rafael Nadal Wins Poker Tournament $137,000 Price Money In Prague.

World number one tennis player, Rafael Nadal has won the $137,000 charity poker tournament in Prague. 

Nadal dethroned poker top players including Daniel Negreanu to win the event. He also saw off former Brazilian international and three times world footballer of the year, Ronaldo Delima.

The tournament was the first ever live poker event for the 27 year Spaniard even though he had been a regular online poker player and also participated in online poker tournaments. 

"I had fun, had great experience here playing with friends, playing for a good cause, for charity, " Nadal said. 

"The next thing I know is that tomorrow morning I will be in court at 9 am practicing tennis. "

Besides Negreanu, who is the number one poker player in the world, Nadal beat Italian downhill star Alberto Tomba , Ronaldo and Andrey Shevchenko to win the event. 

"My life is still tennis, I just have fun playing poker. "

West Brom Sacks Manager Steve Clarke.

West Bromwich Albiom have sacked head coach Steve Clarke as manager of the clubside. This decision and announcement was made after West Brom suffered a 0-1 defeat at Cardiff on Saturday.

The loss was their fourth in a row and has left them 2 points off the relegation zone.

"We have reluctantly came to the decision to relieve Steve of his duties after very careful considerations, " West Brom's technical director Richard Garlick said.

Kanye West directed a member of his security to throw out a female Fan who had repeatedly asked him to remove the mask he wore to his gig in Texas.

The rapper was seen in a video posted on instagram as he approached the crowd irritated by the fan's demand.

OJB Jezreel Returns After Successful Kidney Transplant, Praises Donor Wife.

Popular Nigerian music producer and singer OJB Jezreel who was recently flown to India to undergo a kidney transplant has returned to the country after a successful operation.

The sweetest part of the story is not that the transplant was successful but that the kidney was donated by his first wife who made up her mind in his dying minutes to give him one of her kidneys.

OJB had spent months undergoing dialysis treatments which costs not less than 25,000 Naira per treatment. He took two treatments a week until he was advised by doctors to increase to three times per week to prepare for a successful transplant which was then put at 15 million Naira. The money was to cover sourcing of kidney and other hospital requirements and then after operation maintenance. But this money was not easy to come by.

It took the magnanimity and vibrance of some players in the music industry and in the end, the governor of Rivers State to raise the money. But raising the money for kidney transplant was one thing but finding a donor was another. And time was ticking for OJB. That was when his first wife stepped in and volunteered to donate one of her own kidneys.

After the successful operation, OJB was full of praise and appreciation for the woman who went through hell to hand him back his life.

" She is a wonderful person because it is one thing if God is telling you to do something and another thing to do it. It takes a lot of courage to actually do it. Just as Jesus has made the water for Peter to walk on, Peter needed a lot of courage to take the step and that was what she did at the dying minutes,"

"Even when the doctor came to tell her that they would have to cut her all the way to the back and would have to remove a rib so they could have access to the kidney she still agreed to go through it. It takes courage to go through it, so, I will say she is a courageous woman."

Demba Ba's Goal Ensures Chelsea Champions league Top Spot.

Demba Ba's first half goal was all chelsea needed on Wednesday evening at Stamford Bridge to lift to the top of their Champions league group.

Ba scored a first half goal against bottom place Steaua Bucharest to secure a 1-0 victory against the visitors. Chelsea who already have qualified for the round of 16 had trashed the visitors 0-4 in Bucharest.

This victory at Stamford Bridge finally ensures the top spot for Chelsea though the game was not the type that portrays the blues as a team to beat in this year's Champions league campaign.

Desmond Tutu's home Burgled While He Attends Mandela's Funeral.

The home of Bishop Desmond Tutu in Johannesburg was today broken into by burglars while he was away in Pretoria attending the funeral of his departed friend and freedom fighter Nelson Mandela.

The Nobel prize winner for peace has not at the time of this report returned to confirm if any thing was removed from the house.

Meanwhile the police have said that no arrest has been made regarding the incident.

Vincent Enyeama's Clean Sheet Record Bid Ends By An Own Goal.

Nigeria and Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama's clean sheet record bid ended on Sunday with an own goal by his team mate Simon Kjaer.

Enyeama who has kept a clean sheet, not conceding a goal after 1,062 minutes finally had his bid to break the 1,176 minutes clean sheet record set by Gaetan Huard of Bordeaux during the 1992-93 season, truncated by his team mate in the Sunday game against Bordeaux.

FIFA Changes England - Italy World Cup Kickoff Time.

The world football governing body, FIFA,  has changed the original Kickoff time of the group D match between England and Italy.

The game which was originally slated for 21:00 local time on June 14th, 2014 has been moved forward to 18:00 local time.

According to AFP reports, FIFA Changed the kick off time to appease European broadcasters who are concerned about viewing figures.

Reacting to the new kick off time, England managing director Adrian Bevington said: "we have been informed by FIFA of the change of kick off time to ours and a number of other fixtures.

"Roy is aware, we are very relaxed about it and will continue to make necessary preparations. "

3 Years Old Boy Drowns His Twin Brothers While Drunk Mother Slept Away.

A woman from West Derby,  Liverpool has been sentenced to one year in prison for falling into deep sleep after drinking 4 cans of  strong larger and allowing her 3 years old son to drown one of her twins and causing serious brain damage to the other.

When asked, the boy said " I wanted to make them nice and clean"

The mother fell asleep in the afternoon after drinking four cans of special brew which contained nine percent alcohol. She later woke up to find her children naked and unconscious and not breathing.

The Judge Mrs Justice Cox said:

"The drink certainly played a part in your going to sleep and failing to wake up when the toddler woke up and got out of bed.

"While you slept, the toddler decided to make the twins nice and clean and he put them in the bath.

"When he woke you up you found both of your babies floating in the bath water not breathing. They were cold, naked and they weren't breathing"

"I have noted you have been advised by health workers as to the risks of alcohol misuse and caring properly for young children

She added: "your real punishment will lie in the images that will stay with you possibly permanently of what happened that day"

Both babies were taken to Alder Hey Children Hospital in West Derby,  Liverpool where they were placed on life support.  Few days later one of the twins died while the other remained in life support.  There are indications that the living twin is likely to be severely affected by cerebral palsy and will need round - the - clock care for the rest of his life.

She received a one year prison sentence and suspended for two years at Liverpool crown Court.

OPINION: Blame the media for stripping attitudes of female celebrities.

It is quite baffling, the level female celebrities take entertainment to these days. Looking at the extent they go to attract attention to themselves, one would not stop wondering if all their stunts are only in the name of entertainment and popularity or are there supernatural forces manipulating them.

I know some people reading this piece would be wondering what I am driving at or what I am trying to insinuate. Now get it clear. I am wondering why some female celebrities have chosen to strip to gain popularity?

I have chosen to ignore the argument of  some people that some of these celebrities strip for money. I am trown of balance whenever I convince myself that some of them are stinkingly rich. So why go naked at all?

In the past, women as I used to know, treasure their bodies. They guard them as the vault of a bank would be guarded by armed security men. They guard them from the roving eyes of men. Then, it took a whole lot of hard work and high level of rationality to see the nakedness of a woman by any man.

Today the scenario has changed a lot. From female celebrities to non celebrities, women all over the world seems to be in a race of who will be the first to walk the streets naked.

Initially it began with young and old women exposing a little bit of their breasts ( what they call cleavage. ). Later it came to wearing an under-size bras under a pair of over-size breasts causing it to spill over. When they were done with that,  they employed another strategy-- wearing a  see-through top over bra less boobs. Here are some celebrities who have chosen to give the world a view of their nakedness free of charge on the conventional and social media:


Madonna. 

Madonna started stripping when she was 17. Today she is the highest paid musician in the world according to Forbes. She worth $125m


Rihanna. 

Rihanna is another celebrity who has taken her stripping attitude to a high level. The good girl turn bad gilr was recently reprimanded by mothers in Europe and America for leading their daughters astray.

Miley Cyrus. 

This one lady whose purpose for stripping has never been ascertained. She does it at the slightest opportunity. Her popularity rests to a great extent on her ability to strip.

Lady Gaga

This is probably the mother of stripping. She has taken it to the highest level by recently revealing her cunts on the front cover of a US magazine. She is worth $80m.

Cossy Orjiakor. 

This actress ( former) and dancer probably has no good reason for exposing her body. Maybe for the fun of it and the popularity that comes with it.  It was recently rumoured in several social media including this one that she would insure her boobs for $1.6 million.

Maheeda. 

These celebrities especially Lady Gaga has taken the show a step further. Recently she graced the cover of a magazine in the US with her staked nakedness leaving nothing to imagination. Maheeda, a Nigerian former gospel singer is closely on her heels--something that is least expected of a once upon a time gospel artiste.

Millions of youths visit the social media every day and they are confronted by the nakedness of their supposed ' role models'. These attitudes of female celebrities culminate in moral decadence among the youths who see their attitudes as ' waking up' and attempt to emulate their role models. Who bear the brunt? The society.

I blame the media for the progress of this decadence. The conventional and social media in their quest to earn more visitors and audience give these naughty celebrities unwarranted hype and the more the hype, the further these celebrities go to remain in the spotlight.

I think it is about time the media stopped giving unnecessarily hype to these unscrupulous celebrities in order to save our society and the girl children who in trying to emulate their role models, get raped in the process.

Nelson 'Madiba' Mandela finally bows out.

Former South African president, Nelson Mandela is dead. The anti apartheid activist who became the first black South African president died around 5pm yesterday aged 95.

Mandela spent 27years of his life time in prison on allegations of planning to over trow the then white dominated government.

Mandela spent 18 years of his prison term in a Robbin island prison. During his incarceration, he was infected with tuberculosis which culminated in a protracted lungs problems he suffered until his death yesterday.

During his court trial, Mandela seized the opportunity to deliver a monumental speech part of which read:

" I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities.  It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die"

Mandela's departure has generated a lot of reactions worldwide. In a sorrow laden voice, South African president Jacob Zuma announced that:

"Our nation has lost its greatest son. Our people have lost a father,"

"What made Nelson Mandela great is precisely what made him human."

During his life time, Mandela made some notable quotes:

" when a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. I believe I have made that effort and that is, therefore,  why I will sleep for eternity."

" There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere and many of us have walked through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reached the mountaintop of our desires."

" If United States of America or Britain is having elections, they do not ask for observers from Africa or Asia. But when we have elections, they want observers. "

Mandela died in his Johannesburg home on December 5 2013.

David Beckham's bid for an MLS team franchise suffers a major setback.

David Beckham's major league soccer franchise has suffered a major setback. The franchise award may not be happening anytime soon until a stadium deal is on.

This was revealed by commissioner Don Garber when he said the MLS would love to see new franchise in Miami backed by David Beckham but there will not be a new team in the south Beach until a Stadium deal is in place.

According to Reuters reports,  Garber repeatedly emphasised that MLS is keen to work with Beckham but was equally firm that it will not bend rules for the former England captain. He said their must be a Stadium deal in place before an expansion franchise is awarded.

"We cannot go to Miami without the right Stadium solution, "  Garber said during his state of the league address.

"David understands that, the city understands that, that is an undisputable fact."


There had been two previous attempts to establish a team in Miami but they both failed due to low turn out of spectators. But Beckham believes he can make it happen this time. Finding the right location for a stadium and financing is not easy in Miami.

" We are very excited about opportunity of having David put together an ownership group and financing a Stadium site in downtown Miami so that we can end up having what we hope will be our 22nd team in a city that is one of the largest in the country and has a very strong, passionate fan base but there is a lot of word that needs to happen." Garber said.
